Isreali news outlet 'ynetnews.com' reports:
"A scientist has claimed to have discovered a radioprotectant that all but eliminates acute radiation sickness even in cases of lethal doses of radiation in tests on rats and monkeys, when injected up to 72 hours after exposure. They also claim the drug, a protein, has no observed negative effects in humans. They have not irradiated any people just yet, but if this turns out to be true, it could mean everything from curing cancer to making manned interplanetary space expeditions feasible... not to mention treatment for radiation exposures in nuclear/radiological accidents/attacks. If this drug works, it would mean a true breakthrough as past experiments with radioprotectants were not particularly promising in any respect."

CyberPunkFuture is keeping up The Good Fight (tm), and contributed a review of Victor Gischler's Post-Apocalyptic novel "Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse".
In brief:
"Mortimer Tate was a recently divorced insurance salesman when he holed up in a cave on top of a mountain in Tennessee and rode out the end of the world. Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse begins nine years later, when he emerges into a bizarre landscape filled with hollow reminders of an America that no longer exists. The highways are lined with abandoned automobiles; electricity is generated by indentured servants pedaling stationary bicycles. What little civilization remains revolves around Joey Armageddon's Sassy A-Go-Go strip clubs, where the beer is cold, the lap dancers are hot, and the bouncers are armed with M16s."

After a lengthy hiatus, some of my prior obligations have been freed up; which means I'll be able to dedicate some more time to web-endeavors.
To that end; I've found some reviews that were mostly completed, dusted them off, and published them for all.

Image Fixxxer's been a busy boy recently, and contributed a trio of zombie goodness (and 1 badness).
Last up is Jay Lee's 2008 theatrical film release Zombie Strippers. Many of you might be thinking this film as I did; just a campy way to get Jenna Jameson on the big screen (instead of the smaller screen probably many of you know here by... but I digress). Welp Fixxxer's review put the kebash on that for me; I'll probably check it out now!

Next up, we have the J.L. Bourne's 2004 book Day by Day Armageddon. Set in journal/diary format, it's one mans account of the end of days.
