Image We're going to take a day off here at ye olde' Fallout shelter and enjoy some festivities.. what do we have to be thankful for?
Easy.. we don't have to be cannibals yet.. what... yes.. eat people.. or carry around Geiger counters all the time.

That said, stay tuned, for after the break we have our review of 'Tooth and Nail', and some info on our first contest, working title of "The Christmas at Ground Zero Contest"... no we're not giving away Weird Al' Albums.. sorry.

So that said, all you Americans, enjoy your day off.. to the Canadians, you had T-Day a bit ago so I hope it was good, and to everyone else.. Well.. have a good Thursday I suppose :]

Image New movie review of Michael Haneke's 2003 French film "Le Temps du Loup", also known as "The Time of the Wolf". Enjoy this film as it follows a family trying to maintain it's hold on life during a recent post-apocalyptic event in France.

Blurb:
A family adapts to life in post-apocalyptic France in this intense drama, which follows Anne (Isabelle Huppert) and her family as they arrive at their country home to find the world has undergone a catastrophic event, and utter chaos reigns. Fearing for their lives, Anne and her children flee in search of a safe place, eventually taking refuge in a community of stunned survivors. Maurice Benichou, Lucas Biscombe and Patrice Chereau also star.

You can read the review here.

House of the Dead revived on Wii
Games

ImageThey are reviving House of the Dead 2 & 3 for the Wii, but that's not half as exciting as the mention of an 'about time' light-gun for the Wii... That system was begging for a light gun from the start.

Computer and Video Games has a little blurb on the HotD news and some screenies, but no photos of the Wii light gun.. HotD 2&3 are apparently to be sold as a bundle around Spring 08.

Ask 'I Am Legend'
Catch All Basket

ImageCinematical has arranged to ask Will Smith and Francis Lawrence some questions, and they want some of them to be user-supplied..
Will Smith, obviously, is the star of the upcoming 3rd version of the Richard Matheson's book 'I am Legend'. And if you don't know who he is, Francis Lawrence is the director of this version. A quick reminder that it's scheduled to premiere Dec 14th.

So now's the chance to ask any questions you might have, although there is already a good assortment of questions you'd expect.

Zombie Walk
Zombie Walk
Whoooaaaa nelly..
ZDC has some good coverage of the latest world-record breaking Zombie Walk, again it was in Pittsburgh at the Monroeville Mall (scene of the original Dawn of the Dead movie).

So now the record stands at 1,124 zombies.
ZDC has a blurb about the record breaking event and a blurb about the massive amount of photos that are finding their way online from the Walk.

Bethesda looking to do Fallout MMO

Fallout 3 Blog found a few stories about a Fallout IP MMO. Currently they are just looking to get money for it, so it hasn't started yet.

Given Bethesda/Zenimax haven't even put out one MMO (they are working on a 'Eldar Scrolls' MMO now), I'm wondering how good they will be. Unfortunately given the IP, I think they will just push ahead with it even if they find out it's not so good.

Anyhow.. so if they start on a Fallout MMO now, we probably won't see much of it for about 3 years.

While going through some backlog of places I check for news, I spotted the "Fallout 3: A Post Nuclear Blog"'s blurb on a rich-media webisode-series called 'Afterworld'.

Although I haven't had the chance to really run through them, I do intend to, but with 50 episodes already up, it'll take me a bit.

You can get the official site and episodes online at http://www.afterworld.tv/.

Thanks Briosafreak
