			<title>Cure For Radiation Sickness Found?</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/124/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
Isreali news outlet 'ynetnews.com' reports:
&quot;A scientist has claimed to have discovered a radioprotectant that all but eliminates acute radiation sickness even in cases of lethal doses of radiation in tests on rats and monkeys, when injected up to 72 hours after exposure. They also claim the drug, a protein, has no observed negative effects in humans. They have not irradiated any people just yet, but if this turns out to be true, it could mean everything from curing cancer to making manned interplanetary space expeditions feasible... not to mention treatment for radiation exposures in nuclear/radiological accidents/attacks. If this drug works, it would mean a true breakthrough as past experiments with radioprotectants were not particularly promising in any respect.&quot;

			<title>Book Review: Go Go Girls of the Apocalypse</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/122/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
CyberPunkFuture is keeping up The Good Fight (tm), and contributed a review of Victor Gischler's Post-Apocalyptic novel &quot;Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse&quot;.

In brief:

&quot;Mortimer Tate was a recently divorced insurance salesman when he holed up in a cave on top of a mountain in Tennessee and rode out the end of the world. Go-Go Girls of the Apocalypse begins nine years later, when he emerges into a bizarre landscape filled with hollow reminders of an America that no longer exists. The highways are lined with abandoned automobiles; electricity is generated by indentured servants pedaling stationary bicycles. What little civilization remains revolves around Joey Armageddon's Sassy A-Go-Go strip clubs, where the beer is cold, the lap dancers are hot, and the bouncers are armed with M16s.&quot;

			<title>Book Review: The Living Dead</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/121/lang,english/</link>
			<description>

Reverend Fixxxer has contributed a review for the short story compliation titled 'The Living Dead' (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,38-The-Living-Dead-2008-Various-JJ-Adams-Editor/Itemid,26/lang,english/)... and 'the Reverend' says it's good stuff.

I'm almost done with the Apocalyptic themed complication &quot;Wastelands: Stories of the Apocalypse&quot;, also edited by John Joseph Adams, and it's pretty good. So I'll definitely be picking up a copy of the Zombie themed collection.

			<title>Clearing out the attic; 5 Reviews posted</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/120/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
After a lengthy hiatus, some of my prior obligations have been freed up; which means I'll be able to dedicate some more time to web-endeavors.

To that end; I've found some reviews that were mostly completed, dusted them off, and published them for all.

 First up is a book review of The Day they H-Bombed Los Angeles (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,33-Day-They-H-Bombed-Los-Angeles-1961-Robert-Moore-Williams/Itemid,26/lang,english/). This 1961 book by Robert M. Williams is a decent lightweight reader from the 60s, and is pretty cool because it's really a sci-fi/survivor/psuedo-zombie story.
 Next is Eric Forsberg's &quot;Night of the Dead: Leben Tod&quot; (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,34-Night-of-the-Dead-Leben-Tod-2006-Eric-Forsberg/Itemid,26/lang,english/); Basically a low-budget film trying to take Re-animator to the next step.
 Neil Marshall's &quot;Doomsday&quot; (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,35-Doomsday-2008-Neil-Marshall/Itemid,26/lang,english/). Saw this in the theatres a while back, and it's a decent action film.. not much for the thinking man though.
 Night of the Living Dorks (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,36-Night-of-the-Living-Dorks-2004-Mathias-Dinter/Itemid,26/lang,english/) is a MTV sorta film by Germans.
 And last, but definitely least: Vampires versus Zombies (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,37-Vampires-vs-Zombies-2004-Vince-D-Amato/Itemid,26/lang,english/)... not a whole lot of zombie though.

			<title>Movie Review: Zombie Strippers</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/119/lang,english/</link>
			<description> Image Fixxxer's been a busy boy recently, and contributed a trio of zombie goodness (and 1 badness).

Last up is Jay Lee's 2008 theatrical film release Zombie Strippers (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,31-Zombie-Strippers-2008-Jay-Lee/Itemid,26/lang,english/). Many of you might be thinking this film as I did; just a campy way to get Jenna Jameson on the big screen (instead of the smaller screen probably many of you know here by... but I digress). Welp Fixxxer's review put the kebash on that for me; I'll probably check it out now!

			<title>Book Review: Day by Day Armageddon</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/118/lang,english/</link>
			<description>Fixxxer's been a busy boy recently, and contributed a trio of zombie goodness (and 1 badness).

Next up, we have the J.L. Bourne's 2004 book Day by Day Armageddon (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,32-Day-By-Day-Armageddon-2004-J-L-Bourne/Itemid,26/lang,english/). Set in journal/diary format, it's one mans account of the end of days.

			<title>Movie review: Children of the Living Dead</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/117/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
Fixxxer's been a busy boy recently, and contributed a trio of zombie goodness (and 1 badness).

First on the list is Children of the Living Dead (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,30-Children-of-the-Living-Dead-2001-Tor-Ramsey/Itemid,26/lang,english/), a film by Tor Ramsey. No relation to any of the other 'of the Living Dead', but worse then any of them.

			<title>Movie Review: Severed: Forest of the Dead</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/116/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
Another quicky post movie review for you all. This one is a surprisingly good Canadian Zombie flick by Carl Bessai, titled &quot;Severed: Forest of the Dead&quot;. (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,29-Severed-Forest-of-the-Dead-2005-Carl-Bessai/Itemid,26/)

The premise is pretty unique to anything I've seen out there:
&quot;When a forestry company's profit-driven decision to genetically engineer trees goes horribly wrong, a mismatched group of loggers and environmental activists become ravenous flesh-eating zombies. And although a few uninfected survivors remain, their chances of getting out of the wilderness alive are as remote as the forest itself. An ensemble cast stars in this undead gore fest that makes a run-in with a wood chipper seem tame.&quot;

			<title>Movie Review: Day of the Dead (2008)</title>
			<link>http://endoftheworldfor.us/content/view/115/lang,english/</link>
			<description>
Just posted Fixxxer's review of the 2008 'remake' of 'Day of the Dead' by Steve Miner. The film itself features Ving Rhames, who is always a badass, but also Mena Suvari of &quot;American Beauty' fame.

Read all about the horror.. and I don't mean because there are zombies.. (http://endoftheworldfor.us/component/option,com_simple_review/review,28-Day-of-the-Dead-2008-Steve-Miner/Itemid,26/lang,english/)...
