 The WickedFX blog has part one of a multi-part series on making good zombie makeup/effects up, the author looks like he's going with the "burial suit" look, and I like it.
So if any of you out there were looking for a good tutorial on 'how to look like a zombie that doesn't suck', here's a good starting place.
